Grounds Maintenance

Spring Clean up

vHansen’s Lawn Care will provide a thorough clean up in the spring. Spring clean-up will consist of removal of all foreign materials from turf, rock/mulch beds, sidewalks, etc. Spring clean-up will be around May 15thor weather permitting.

Lawn Mowing

vWeekly lawn mowing will take place after Spring Clean Up from May, 1stand ending October, 31st. All turf shall be mowed as necessary to maintain a well-kept appearance. It shall be unnecessary for Hansen’s Lawn Care to mow more than once every seven days. Trimming/edging where mowers cannot reach will be performed

vMarshfield day will be Monday unless delayed by weather. (at approximately 11:30)

vHansen’s will attempt to have the same employees each week complete the work at Marshfield

vCare will be taken not to mow and damage turf due to extreme wetness (low spots) at the back of homes. Homeowners with sprinklers are responsible for not over sprinkling.

vCutting height of 3.00” to 3.75” shall be performed regarding temperatures. Special attention will always be paid to using the correct sized equipment for the terrain on your property. If rain affects our mowing schedule, you will be serviced the following non-rain day.

vClippings shall be blown back on to the turf after each mowing. Driveways, sidewalks/steps, landscape beds and patios shall be grass free.

vBe pay attention not to scalp when trimming

vAny damage should be reported to info@hansenslawncare.comand the owner or manager will assess the damage onsite with board member of Marshfield

Irrigation

vSprinkler start up/winterize will be performed as part of monthly fee

Fall Clean up

vFall clean-up will be completed after October 15th. All landscaped areas will be blown clean. Leaves will be removed from all maintained turf areas, bushes, ground level patios, sidewalks and landscaping. During the fall clean up a final mowing for the season will take place.

Snow Services

Snow Plowing

Hansen’s Lawn Care will plow when at a minimum snow trigger of 2”. Hansen’s Lawn Care provides 24 hour & 7 days a week snow services. Property will be cleared of snow within 12 hours of snowfall 2-6 inches; 16 hours 6+ inches.

There are times snow plows fill driveway aprons (the approach off of 15thstreet) with excess snow after they have been cleared. If this causes a hazard, kindly contact us and we will attempt to clear this within a reasonably agreed upon time frame. Every attempt will be made by Hansen’s to plow as soon as possible.

Hansen’s also provides “Open up Services” after 7-8” of snowfall where they will

widen our main road and then return ASAP to finish all plowing. Hansen’s will perform snow services no matter the month; meaning snow in May, etc. will still be covered under monthly fee.

Sidewalks up to each front door and driveways up to garage doors will be shoveled. Excess snow accumulation that needs to be removed can be requested by Association for an additional charge. Mailbox will be plowed to the curb for

access by residents. Hansen’s will also place a bucket of salt near the mailboxes

and fill as necessary.

Our clause for placement of snow: states the placement of snow being removed to the northeast parking spaces and hill. Not to be deposited between homes. Also, ensuring plowing snow to the curb lines and all sides of the road, and as wide as the driveways.

Salting

Entire asphalt lot will be salted “as requested” per association board member. The fee for this service would be $195; this does not include driveways just main roads in and out of association

Snow Plowing Disclaimer

Hansen’s Lawn Care will not plow or sand/salt within 3 feet from any parked vehicles, equipment or other obstructions in parking lots, drives or other areas being cleared. Please attempt to move obstructions prior to our services being completed. Hansen’s Lawn Care is not liable for damage to pavement or other surfaces contracted for plowing of snow. Annual snow accumulations over 60” will be billed at an additional 6% of monthly fee per service visit.

Yearly Property Maintenance

Hansen’s Lawn Care proposes hereby to furnish material and labor complete in accordance with attached specifications in the amount of:

*NOTE* This contract may be terminated with a written 30 days notice by either party in the event an equitable compromise or resolution for either party regarding performance/service issues cannot be reached.

Marshfield Ponds Townhomes Associationagrees to pay a monthly fee of $914 (sales tax April-November will be additional)

Ø Annual Lawn Care & Snow Plowing Services --$914 per month

Ø Lot Salting --$195

Ø Additional work can be requested but will be in addition to the aforementioned pricing
