Legacy Inspection & Master Policy Claim/ Yearly Meeting Notice

Hello Members,


Legacy Restoration found large sums of storm damage on each unit that qualifies to make a master policy claim to have the roofs repaired on all units. In the event that we do not have them repaired through insurance, an average roof costs about $20,000 per unit. Speaking with our insurance agent about the master policy renewal due tomorrow, 8/13, the insurance rate will increase regardless of the claim. It is estimated that we were previously valued at $100 a square foot, and now due to inflation, we are at $142 a square foot. It is suggested to make an insurance claim for hail damage on the roofs to have them redone as soon as possible to ensure there is no risk of internal damage in the near future or that we do not forfeit the right to the insurance claim. The master policy deductible for each home for hail is $5,000. It is suggested each unit make a claim on its private HO6 policy to cover this deductible.

Legacy Restorations will answer all questions you have about the roof damage, the insurance claim process, and the repair. The drone and on-site inspection are below. Legacy will represent each unit to the master policy company and provide documentation to your private insurance on the condition of a signed agreement that we will use their company for the repairs. Legacy's information is attached and is proven to be a reputable company nationally. In the event that West Bend rejects our claim, Legacy will cover all costs of the appeal. Their team is well versed with insurance adjusters and claims. Tim believes he can have the work completed for the whole neighborhood in 3-5 days. I would like to move forward with the claim as soon as we can.
